‘For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.’
1 Chronicles 29.14
Christian giving is a reflection of our gratefulness to God and the blessings we have received through the Church. Please help support the work of Saint Michael & All Angels, in order to maintain and develop our ministry in the community and in the service of God. Like all churches, we receive no money from the state and are entirely reliant upon contributions from the congregation and wider community. Please give generously, as you are able. The Vicar and Treasurer are always happy to help you think about what giving might be right for you.
There are many ways to give –
- Cash – at services or whenever the church is open in the wall-safes at the back of church.
- Contactless – using card or phone. There is a contactless giving machine permanently installed in church.
- Text – simply text SAINTMICHAEL to 70470 followed by the amount you wish to give (e.g. SAINTMICHAEL£10) up the value of £20. You can donate more by texting again.
- Transfer – account no. 10774065, sort code 20-72-33.
We encourage regular worshippers to join Planned Giving and give by standing order. This is easier for you and for us, and you can find a planned giving form here.
We also encourage everyone – whether giving regularly or occasionally – to fill out a Gift Aid form. As a charity we are able to reclaim the tax, and this means that all your donations, both now and in the future, will be increased by 25%.
