There are three spaces available for hire at St Michael’s – the Community Centre, the Church Hall and the Church building itself. Some events will be more suited to one space or another, depending on size, facilities and your requirements.
St Michael’s is a beautiful church built in 1983 and is available for hire and has been used previously for concerts, community meetings, and theatrical events. It can accommodate hundreds of people. Use of toilets and kitchen facilities in adjacent Community Centre is usually possible, depending on what is taking place in the Centre. 2/3 parking spaces may be available depending on the time, day and duration of your event.

St Michael’s Community Centre opened in early 2007 and offers a contemporary venue for the local community. As an extension to the popular 19th-century church, the centre offers a well-appointed space to host any event for all age groups. Music groups, coffee mornings, toddler groups and exercise classes all take place here. Businesses can also use the Community Centre, for example for their AGMs, and individuals can hire the Centre for christenings, parties and other family events. The Community Centre has been designed to the highest specification with high ceilings, natural sunlight from above, underfloor heating, sprung floors and good acoustics.
